SEAEXPLORER gliders are designed into three parts:
Front: Payload Section
This part integrates the sensors that collect underwater data. Payloads are modular and can be interchanged, enabling sensors to be adapted to the needs of each mission. Each payload is compatible with all gliders of the SEAEXPLORER range.
Middle: Battery Section
Gliders can remain autonomously in the water for several months at a time. Its battery can be fully recharged in just a few hours, enabling it to be rapidly deployed again.
This part also incorporates a moving mass that moves forward or backward and horizontally to enable pitch and roll.
Rear: Navigation and Communication Section
This part includes the electronic navigation cards, the wings and the antenna for transmitting the data. SEAEXPLORER gliders can be equipped with propellers for horizontal navigation in shallow waters.
